Evan Dwin is an experienced litigator and employment attorney. Evan is also a trained mediator.
Prior to founding Dwin Legal, APC, Evan worked for two international law firms. Evan first practiced in the Century City office of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where he represented companies of all sizes, as well as individuals, in complex commercial litigation. Evan also counseled clients regarding a broad variety of state and federal employment law issues and litigated single-plaintiff discrimination cases and wage and hour class actions.
While living in Los Angeles, Evan frequently visited North County San Diego and fell in love with the area. In 2011, Evan moved to San Diego and began working with Troutman Sanders LLP, another international law firm. While working with Troutman, Evan continued to counsel clients on employment law issues, and continued to handle a wide-variety of civil litigation.
Evan is extremely grateful for, and proud of, his past work experience. While working with his previous firms, Evan not only learned to handle complex matters from start to finish and to provide the highest level of client service, but was also mentored by exceptional attorneys. It is Evan’s mission to provide the same level of service and professionalism that clients expect from a large international law firm, but with the increased efficiency and flexible fee structure of a smaller firm.
Evan earned his J.D. in 2005 from UCLA School of Law where he graduated in the top three percent of his class (8th out of 303). While attending UCLA, Evan was a Managing Editor of the UCLA Entertainment Law Review and was the Outstanding Brief Writer in UCLA’s Moot Court Competition. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central and Eastern District of California and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Evan received his mediation training through the North County Lifeline mediation training program.
Prior to practicing law, Evan was an Assistant to the Producer of the television show Futurama.
